This was in 2010 at the Murat and what a show it was !!! This sort of show you would be accustomed to in New York or L A, not Indianapolis, but what ya know it happened !!!! It was the last night of the tour for the Experience Hendrix show !!!! And I know I am going to leave someone out so I will need your help .This show is in my top ten shows of all time !!!! The show opened with Billy Cox and Ernie Isley and Chris Layton of Double Trouble doing a mind blowing version of Manic Depression !!!! It was a star studded event to say the least !!!! Los Lobos was there along with the band Living Colour and Eric Johson , Susan Tedeschi , Johny Lang , Brad Whitford , Robert Randolph , David Hidalgo , Cesar Rosas ,Steve Via and believe it or not the one that actually Stold the show for the night was Kenny Wayne Shepard doing Voodoo Chile !!!!! It was pure insanity !!!!!!! Each artist played their favorite Hendrix tunes and collaborated on several tunes and another memorable tune was Fire done by Susan Tedeschi and Johnny Lang and Brad Whitford !!!! Very good !!!! The entire evening was amazing !!!!! The band I was in at the time did a gig earlier that day and we played well so I was extra jacked up about going to the show !!!!!! The lead singer for Living Colour came off stage and ran around the whole Theater and as he ran by me he gave me a high five !!!!!!! I could go on and on about this show all night but all I can say if this show happens to come through the city no matter who is in the line up that night I suggest you go you won’t be disappointed !!!!!! Unbelievable show !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
