Frank Zappa, 2 shows at the Morris Civic, 5/9/75 We came in late for the first show and Frank had already started. I ran into Steve Sybesma in the lobby. I’m sure he doesn’t remember this, but he was so nice, that he gave us tickets for the 2nd show. I really got an insight as to the way Frank worked. About half of the songs were different for the 2nd show. And the ones that were the same were rearraigned. Also, I’m pretty sure Captain Beefheart got drunk between shows, and he found an orange traffic cone and wore it on it head during the 2nd show. An awesome concert to say the least! – Tom Casey
