Worst concert sound venue ever.
Wow, I went to that show, my first Dead show, and the first time we’d driven any farther than downtown Indy for a show.
We lived in Broad Ripple. I don’t care what the tape picked up or what you thought you heard but that band was on fire that night. I suppose you’d say that about the IUPUI Sports Center Show too. Tapers don’t catch the excitement of the show, just what their misplaced equipment can catch, not soundboard quality.
