My wife’s first concert!!
I went to this show with my younger Brother and I remember the Hari Krishna’s were selling incense to the audience. They ask me if I wanted to buy some incense I said that I didn’t so the they asked me if I wanted to buy some Acid…lol It was the 70’s what can I say?
I was there with about nine other people that I hauled down from Elkhart IN in my Zig Zag step van. We left Elkhart after the bars closed and we were smoking green tar hash oil. I was driving snd it was horrible foggy. I don’t really remember how in hell I got down there. I kept dozing off between the acts during the stage changes. I do remember the great music and giving a Krishna couple a ride down 16th street to Meridian st and pulling over to let them out where they were quickly scooped up by the Indy cops as soon as their feet hit the ground. We just went up to Delaware street and exited North. I’m 80 years old now and that was a day to remember!
