I was 3 weeks from starting my freshman year at Broad Ripple which makes me 8th grade and my friend Chris Anthony from Swedan claimed to know the band. Sure enough he knew Doug Hall Maiden’s sound engineer who was surprised to see a Stockholm kid in Indy. We were given back stage passes and bass strings off Steve’s bass ect. It was Bruce’s 25th birthday that night. We sat 3rd row and got Jimmy Cain and Carter Hoffmeister backstage with us and for me a ride home from the show. It was the most rocking way to begin high school
