If I recall correctly (and I must admit things were a little hazy at that time), this was The Passion Play concert. At the end of the concert, after the encore, the stage went dark and the venue lights stayed off. It was pitch black, and all of a sudden a lone spotlight shined down on the stage to illuminate a telephone on a tall table. The phone starts ringing and Ian Anderson emerges on stage and picks up the phone. He puts it up to his ear, and then holds it out to the audience. He says, “It’s for you.” The crowd goes nuts, he disappears, and all the lights come up. Great show!
