In 1982 I saw Judas Priest at Market Square Arena. I sat really close. So close in fact that I got hit in the chest by a pineapple when opening act Uriah Heep threw fruit into the audience at the end of their set. Anyway, Priest comes on and singer Rob Halford took off the hat he was wearing and tossed it into the crowd like a frisbee. I eventually ended up with the hat which I still have. Yesterday I was given a picture that was taken by Trina OConnor who was at the show and took this photo of Halford wearing the exact hat moments before he threw it. It’s literally the same hat! Is this important? Probably not but I think it’s pretty cool! – Jimmie Bruhn

Home on my first leave from the USAF. Rob Halford riding the Harley onto the stage was awesome. I was a Heep fan so it was great seeing them also.
