– From national press: ” Some local pastors and city officials are unhappy with the decision to allow the rock group Kiss to use the Hammond Civic Center for a concert on Easter. ‘A concert on Easter Sunday by a group of that nature is offensive,’ said Jon DeGuilio, president of the city council. ‘Kiss goes beyond being a rock group.
