Interestingly, I have a ticket for this show dated June 25, 1988. After some internet research, I found that Bruce and the gang were invited to open for the Grateful Dead on June 25, so the show at Starlight was moved to June 26. It was the first time Bruce played with the Dead joining them on accordion for a couple of songs… he later joined the Dead for a while playing keyboards after Brent Myland died.

I did too have a ticket for June 25 1988 and gone to the Starlight and didn’t hear about it til Q95 stated the concert was Sunday, This was Bruce first Indiana tour . I seen him 16 times now. Pat McLaughlin was a blues artist and had a song on the Bull Durham soundtrack and hasn’t done much since beside playing around Nashville Tn area and open once for War when I was in town for a wedding. Starlight is now housing on Butler campus
