This is one band that’s had plenty of time to practice. The sound for this performance was unbelievable. The Who is not necessarily my favorite band so I’m not leaning towards them but…WOW! Best damn live show I’ve ever witnessed. I recently found a B+ recording of this very show at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrJxnABSI3Y
I was getting my oil changed in Brownsburg today, and met a guy who had also been at this show! He mentioned that he really bought the ticket to see the opening act, The Clash, but they did not appear. Does anyone have info on this? I see they were at the Pontiac Silverdome the next night, with The Who and David Johansen, who opened for The Who in Indy. Thanks for a GREAT site!
